Cloud9 June 2013 Blog Hop

Hello Everyone,

Today I have a card for you for the Cloud9 Blog Hop, featuring WPlus9.  Unfortunately it will be the last hop :(.  So this theme was Anything Goes, and I decided to use Embroidered Bouquet!

So for my card I decided to use white embossing powder like I have seen so many others do--it just really makes the flowers stand out.  I also used a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and some ribbon trim.

Thank You

Stamps:  Embroidered Bouquet (WPlus9)
Ink:  Versa Mark
Paper:  Pink Pirouette (SU); Lake House (WPlus9); Kraft (PTI)
Misc:  Cuttlebug Embossing Folder, lace trim, bow, pearls

Thanks so much for stopping by--make sure you check out the rest of the hop, the cards look amazing!

Squeeze-A-Palooza #4, Valentine's Day!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I am finally getting to post in 2013--yea!  Who knew the new year would get off to such a running start?  So for my first post of the year, I was able to join in on the monthly challenge from Fresh Squeezed Stamps.  I had the pleasure of meeting both Ryan and Shannon when they did a make n take a few months ago, and they are two super nice ladies!  I have been hoping to have time to participate in one of their challenges for a while, and I have had the card made for a few days--finally found time to sit down and write up a post!  And my daughter liked the challenge so much she made a card too :).

So this month's challenge was to create something inspired by the following photos, which you can find here.
They also offer a free digi stamp along with their challenge, and I liked it so much that I just had to use it.  So here is my Valentine's Day card:

Stamps:  Fresh Squeezed Digi Stamp (see link above)
Cardstock:  Pink Pirouette (SU), Vintage Cream (PTI)
Patterned Paper:  Jillibean Soup
Misc.  Ribbon, Chalking around focal point; free font (Kimberly Geswein fonts)

And here is my daughter's card:

Stamps:  Fresh Squeezed Digi Stamp
Cardstock:  Stamper's Select White, Hibiscus Burst (PTI)
Misc.  Copic Markers, glitter ribbon, cuttlebug embossing folder

If you like our cards-you can head to the Fresh Squeezed Stamps Blog and click "like" on our card!

Thanks so much for stopping by--have a great day!

TE Calendar Challenge--December!

Hello!

I made it--all 12 months of the Taylor's Calendar Challenge, and all posted before the deadline of December 31st!  These were to be Christmas presents, so the recipients ended up getting a last Christmas present on either December 29th or 30th--late, but not too bad.  This was a really fun challenge to participate in, and I love the fact that I was able to make some unique Christmas presents while having fun.  And if I haven't mentioned it, should you want to make your own calendar--you can download Taylor's 6 by 6 calendar here.

So last but not least, here is December!  This is one of my favorites, I just love the little penguins and the little pom pom and sparkles!

December

Stamps:  Penguin Pals (TE), Everyday Occasions (Doodlebug)
Paper:  Vintage Cream Cardstock (PTI), Patterned Paper (Echo Park)
Fun Details:  Copic Markers, Pom pom, Red Jewels, sparkle berries

Thank you so much for checking out my calendars!  I hope to see you in 2013 with some new projects and challenges!
